Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM) Program Support

Since 2004, the Folk School has taught traditional Appalachian music to high school students in Cherokee and Clay counties. These free weekly fiddle, guitar, banjo, and string band classes help kids better understand their local culture and experience the joy and confidence that comes from learning to play music and perform with others.
